Avalon History

Welcome to the world of Avalon, yes Avalon is a planet, similar to Earth, however they are both far apart. On and in Avalon you will see humans, how you ask? The answer is simple.... both Avalon and Earth have certain places that are natural, which to some seem to be unatural and unexplained. These places on both planets are actually portals to either planet. These portals were created,by what the humans called the Greek Gods. However,the gods had lost their power to maintain control of the humans on Earth. The humans then stopped believing the gods,therefore,the gods fled back to were the came from, Avalon. A few Thousand loyal humans had followed the gods. To some, the gods had powers and abilities that most beings couldn't figure out, nor over come.. but others did figure out their weaknesses and exploited them to whoever they could. However,the gods still had and do have loyal followers. This was and is how Avalon began to grow......

The Avalon Lands themselves were peaceful with no leaders nor armies just beings living their lives..that is until the wars broke out.The multiple wars had began do to the lack of leadership within the villages. These wars went on for hundreds almost thousands of years. However, the wars had destroyed the lands and the people had forgotten what they were fighting for ...leadership and peace. After the wars had taken their toll on both the land and the people,peace and leadership was on the horizen.

Leadership was formed, not long after came the building of a capital city. Almost ten years after the city was built, it was then decided to have an army to ensure leadership and peace throughout the lands. Another five years passed, then the leaders within the capital city of the land decided to control all of its land by creating what they called a kingdom. Thus the Avalon Kingdowm was born. The leaders were wise in their decision and it was a good one to have a kingdom, however there was one piece of land that no one could control, nor destroy. This piece of land (almost the size of a small country in itsself)was known to some locals and some ancient beings as the Elder Lands. The Elder Lands are what some say is the true heart of Avalon itsself.

Fifty years had passed since the kingdom was formed, however peoples true nature had began to grow.. jealus power hungry and anger at the control some had. Thus war broke out again, which raged on for almost another hundred years. The wars had ended, with the destrucion of the capital , the armies not having enough people to fight and soon the once great Kingdom fell...along with those who had control.

Now....20 years later after the fall of the Kingdom of Avalon,there is no army,no capital, just empty shells of buildings. The land healing from the wars, and the land and its people going back to their lives as they did all of the thousands of years before the capital, the army , and the kingdom.

Most of those leaders and heros that were known for thier skills at battle and survival by many were now just old stories and now almost forgotten and maybe even outcasts...these are the mediaval times and beyond in Avalon.



The Future: Avalon 2121
Avalon has grown from the mediaval times , except one area known as the Elder Lands, which is another story of its own.However the future is filled with space ships which travel from planet to planet and beyond, some old heros and warriors still live ..even in the unknown and possilby dark times of the future.
